The business need
Cross-border shipments involve goods information, sender and recipient addresses, and status changes. Staff need retrievable transaction records, while customers need to follow shipment progress using a tracking number.
The approach
The Akinda Cargo flow connects shipment registration with status history. Staff enter goods, sender, and recipient information, save the transaction, and update statuses by scanning shipment codes. Customers use tracking numbers to read updates recorded by staff. Saved customer records can be reused for subsequent shipments, while history helps staff find transactions and open their details.

Sign in & start
Staff sign in and open New Transaction to register a shipment.

Record goods
Enter package size, container number, origin tracking number, contents, and shipment notes.

Add addresses
Select or enter the sender and recipient, including origin and destination addresses.

Save the transaction
Save shipment information so it can be retrieved through history and transaction details.

Update the status
Scan the shipment code, select a status, and add notes or photos when needed. Multiple tracking numbers can be updated together.

Follow through to receipt
Customers enter a tracking number to read progress until staff record shipment receipt.
